Birthday Girl!

ADDISON'S 1ST BIRTHDAY!

Thank you Grandma Nancy for the wonderful party and thank you all for coming to enjoy it with us. Addison had so much practice this year opening gifts that she'll be a pro next year. She also took several steps on her b-day when great-grandma was there to see! It was a day to remember and we're glad we got to spend it with all of you!

Opening presents!

Christmas officially began for Addison at our home the Saturday before Christmas so she was able to do a little practicing.
We then went to Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Rick's house for Christmas supper and to open more gifts.
Addison also got to spend time with Grandpa Bruce and cousins.
She was very interested in their trucks.

On Christmas Eve we headed out to Palisade for Christmas Eve services and afterward went to Joe and Sarah's for soup. Addison just loved Peyton.
Christmas morning finally came and Addison got so many presents. Thank you everyone! That morning we opened gifts at Grandma Nancy's (my mom's house). In case you haven't realized, Addison has two Grandma Nancy's and while we're on that she has two Uncle Shane's too. She may be just a little confused one day.

Addison thought she should help Uncle with this big one.

Stocking time! Thank you Great-Grandma Elaine for sewing me my very own stocking!
For Christmas dinner we went to Missy and Jared's. Addison enjoyed playing with Jacob and again loved the boys trucks.

Pooh bear from Great-Grandma.

Afternoon fun with Daddy.

Toward the end of the day we stopped out at Great-Grandma Jo's to see that side of the family and Grandpa Bill. Altogether Addison had a very eventful first Christmas!

Can you say ORNERY!

Addison loves climbing in and out of things but then wants to stand, which is scary for Mommy. Addison's new car seat hasn't made it to the car yet so she thinks this is awesome to sit in. I found her in this while I was getting ready for work.

This was a little tough to get out of so I'm not sure how she even got that way, silly girl.

More teeth, 6 now!

Santa?

Addison wasn't too sure of Santa. So it wasn't a good time for a photo opp plus it was past her bedtime by the time she was able to see Santa so she was a little tired. Daddy and Uncle Shane got to bring Santa in on the firetruck and handed out candy for everyone.
