Addi and Uncle Andy had a birthday party together at Grandma's in Palisade. She had a great time with cousins and playing with her gifts.
Back at home we celebrated her birthday on the 27th, opening presents in the morning, then inviting family over that evening for cake and ice cream.
Addison loved everyone singing "Happy Birthday" and loves singing this herself also. She blew the candles out, very quickly, on to the "cake, cake, cake," she likes to say!
I can't believe my little girl is two. She's turning into such a big girl. She learns so quick it's amazing to me and remembers everything! She's really getting into the pretend play which is so cute to watch how she talks to her dolls or serves tea. She will be such a helper to me when the baby arrives and boy does she wants to help. She's says "help mommy" a lot - cleaning, cooking, anything, she wants to help. Right now she loves to say "you're funny" and loves the chipmunk voices, we're certainly going to have to get the new movie. On to potty training, she does well at times and other times not, but she wants out of diapers and calls pull ups panties so maybe we'll work a little harder at this. All in all we can't wait to see how she'll brighten our lives this year!
