We hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!
Addi got to spend the day with g-ma while I started back at work. That night we took some pictures for Daddy and made a slide show for him. These were just some of the pics.
My best friend came down to see us for a few days. Addison just loved her. She had to brave a pretty nasty snow storm and a 7 hour drive through it all but she made it. It was nice having her here. She was a big help so I could get some things done around the house before I started back to work and we got to spend my b-day together as well, something we hadn't done in a long time. Thank you Chandell. Love ya.
Well, I started back to work on Valentine's Day so Addi got to spend the day with g-ma and we took pictures for Dad that night and made him his favorite meal. Friday was the first day taking her to daycare. It's just a small daycare next to our home so it's very convenient and I know she won't be ignored. Debbie is wonderful and said she had a good first day, smiling a lot.
My days at work are going well. As long as I'm busy I'm not thinking too much about missing her. They seem to go pretty quick but I'm a little swamped right now so that helps to pass the time.
I swear Addi had a big growth spurt. She no longer fits in her newborn diapers. I swear she fit them the night before and the next morning, nope. Last night I laid out her clothes for this week and this morning I put on an outfit that she was swimming in before and now it's nearly too small. It's so crazy how fast she is growing. Her baby acne is now disappearing, finally. It's nice to see her pretty face again.
Just thought I'd update everyone. I think I'm heading home for the 1st weekend in March so Addi can meet everyone. We'll see you all then.
To update everyone- We are all doing well. I think Scottie and I keep passing colds back and forth but luckily Addison has stayed happy and healthy. I return to work this week and Addison will be in daycare. The time has really flown by. My days will sure be different not being with my little girl. Addison is changing every day. She is so alert, smiling and laughing. She is very much like her father who can't sit still for two minutes. Go, go, go all the time. I will try to get a video posted of this so stay tuned.
