Addison enjoyed wearing Aunt Brini's sunglasses on the drive to Palisade

We died eggs on Saturday morning. Addison loved the stickers.

Saturday afternoon Addison hunted eggs at the park. She did really well.

And wanted to be a big girl and do it all by herself.

Sunday morning we went to church and Grandma Elaine's house.

Addison got to spend time with the girls, Peyton and Sawyer. She had a blast. She was sharing her toys with Sawyer and her and Peyton were chasing each other around throughout the day. We had a wonderful trip and a fun time with family.

I just received some exciting news...I have been appointed by the Governor to be a member of the Nebraska Coalition for Juvenile Justice!

The Coalition makes recommendations to the Crime Commission on juvenile justice issues, oversees Nebraska's compliance with the JJDP Act and prepares annual reports on those activities for the Governor and Legislature. The Coalition also reviews and makes recommendations to the Crime Commission on the award of the federal JJDP Act subgrants, federal Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant Program subgrants, State Juvenile Services Act grants and State Juvenile Services Planning grants.

It was an honor to even be considered for appointment. I'm so excited to be a part of such a great group, committed to juvenile justice issues in Nebraska.

Well, I realized I don't have many pictures taken which is why I haven't posted lately. Sorry everyone. I did find one new one. Some updates on Addison... she certainly has a personality and hates the word "no". She is good at pointing to her nose, eyes, ears, mouth if you ask and likes to put her hand out for change to stick in the piggy bank. She's become quite good at that, just ask Grandma Nancy and Aunt Brini. All-in-all we have a very ornery girl that we give hugs and kisses to all day long and can't wait to see what she'll do next. We will be traveling home for Easter so I'll have many pictures then. See you all soon.
