Spring Visitors

Signs of Spring! I love these trees so I had to share them with all of you.

The past couple weeks we've had a few visitors. A couple weeks ago my sister came to visit and this past weekend a couple college roommates were able to make it down with their kids. It was really enjoyable and wonderful to see them again and their youngin's.

The wedding was held here in Peru at the Community Church where Scottie and I got married and the reception was at the VFW downtown...

As you can tell Addison had an eventful weekend and got to see lots of family and did a little dancin' too.

Soy Unsuccessful

So our attempt at switching Addison back to soy was unsuccessful. She did well for 1 week and then she was back to being congested, screaming when fed and snotty stools so I knew this wasn't going to work. Luckily she had an appointment Friday and they confirmed that she needed to be switched back to the Alimentum and will have to stay on that. They call her an MSPI baby which weirds me out but that just means she has milk soy protein intolerance. This also means she can't have rice cereal so they are having me start her on baby food in a specific order... Yummy squash being first. We attempted this last night. I wish I had a video of it because her faces were so hilarious. Anyhow, she is doing better again. We'll see how she does this week. She now weighs 13 lbs.

Addison's New Toy

I found this neat infant gym online with a $20.00 off coupon so I had to get it. She loves mirrors so she can look in the mirror on her tummy... then we can flip the mirror so she can see herself while she's on her back.
She certainly enjoys a new toy to look at and it's funny to watch her talk to herself.

Trip to KC

Addison and I decided to make a trip to Kansas City to see Sis and Shane. Mom, G-ma Elaine and Andy came up that weekend too so we enjoyed a lot of card games. I learned how to play Cribbage and Shane taught us Killer Uno. Sis and Bud are peeling eggs so Andrew can show me how to make his deviled eggs.
